Books that change how we think about climate.
Earth Set brings together people who care about climate, innovation, and ideas — and the authors who help us see them differently. We feature writers whose work sparks action as well as thought, using books as starting points for the conversations and collaborations that drive a net-positive future.
Upcoming Bookclub
-
The Earth Set Bookclub is a series of small, thoughtful suppers with authors whose ideas shape how we think — and act — on climate, technology, and society. Held a handful of times each year, these intimate, ticketed dinners bring together a small group of Earth Setters for open conversation and good food — no ongoing commitment, just join the ones that speak to you.

Earth Set Bookclub - Sink or Swim with Susannah Fisher, Tuesday, 27th January 2026
For our next Bookclub dinner, we’ll be joined by Dr Susannah Fisher, climate adaptation expert and author of Sink or Swim — a vivid, humane exploration of how communities around the world are confronting the realities of a warming planet. Why does adaptation succeed in some places and fail in others? And what would fair, effective resilience look like in practice?
Expect a relaxed, curated conversation over dinner in the private dining room —
more salon than lecture, more ideas than networking.📅 Monday 27 January, 7–10pm
📍 Casa do Frango, Mayfair – 31–33 Heddon Street, London W1B 4BN
🎙️ Moderated by Tom Pakenham, Founder of Adaptation UK🎟️ Reserve your place for free
